HAMILTON & AREA CHAPTER LOCAL STUDY TOUR

DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

IN HEALTHCARE

The Hamilton & Area Chapter is excited to host a local study tour focused on the digital transformation in healthcare. This full-day tour is aligned to the 2017 Apps for Health digital health conference hosted by Mohawk College’s Technology Access Centre in Digital Health at MEDIC and supported by NSERC. During this two-part experience, participants will first attend the Apps for Health conference, widely renowned for being one of Ontario’s premier digital health information-sharing and networking events, and a forum to discuss emerging trends in health, technology, medical education, and entrepreneurship. Second, participants will attend an afternoon session during which they will dialogue with Dr. Ted Scott, Chief Innovation Offer & Director of Strategy at Hamilton Health Sciences, and his colleagues regarding HHS’ digital strategy, case studies that illustrate how HHS is activating its strategy, and insights about working on the frontlines of digital transformation in healthcare.
